Job Objective
Translate and facilitate accurate and effective communication in mining projects, both written and verbal, to support smooth operations at the mining site.
Responsibilities
- Translate mining project technical documents such as SOPs, reports, contracts, and equipment specifications accurately.
- Provide oral interpretation during project meetings, safety meetings, training sessions, and on-site coordination.
- Act as a communication liaison between local personnel and foreign workers (engineers, supervisors, and management).
- Ensure translations are accurate and aligned with mining technical terminology and on-site operational context.
- Accompany on-site project activities to ensure smooth and effective communication.
- Assist with translation related to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain the confidentiality of project documents and information.
- Record meeting outcomes and translate them into the required language.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, HSE, and project management teams.
- Assist in resolving communication issues on site.
Requirements
- Male
- Aged 25-40 years old.
- Minimum education: Vocational High School (SMK), all majors.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a mining project translator.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin.
- Willing to be assigned to the mining site location.
